    Job Title

    Civil Drafter/Site Planner II - Remote, Temporary to Hire Position

    Hourly Pay: $28.85 - $31.25 per hour, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    The role is remote but requires residing within the state of Texas.

    Detailed Job Description

    The Site Planner II plays a crucial role in completing site plans, reviewing title commitments, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.

    • Complete final site plans to ensure accuracy and precision.
    • Review and approve Title Commitments to guarantee compliance with company standards.
    • Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats using AutoCAD software.
    • Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code, and community guidelines as they apply to site plans, redraws, and lot fits.
    • Ensure quality and accuracy of all drawings produced.
    • From time to time, complete projects on short notice while managing extreme time constraints.
    • Review, approve, and correct title commitments as assigned by management.
    • Assist with redraws, lot fits, and sold home forms as needed to meet business requirements.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.
    • At least one year of experience in basic drafting methods, including proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office products.
    • Familiarity with Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.
    • Able to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions, and other technical documents.
    • Experience in civil drafting is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated computer skills, including working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Able to perform basic arithmetic operations, including percentages, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
