    Salary Range: $65,000.00 To 75,000.00 Annually

    Position Summary:

    The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises & coordinates all activities in the dry warehouse department to maximize productivity and organization. This includes planning, assigning & directing workflow, addressing product and materials & employee complaints & tactfully resolving issues & problems as they arise. This person carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, OSHA regulations & applicable laws while thinking with a continuous improvement management style.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Supervises all phases of receiving into warehouse, its operations including receiving of MIPs schedules, loading operations of paper trailer & material handling activities.
    • Maintains proper inventory of packaging materials, including but not limited to boxes for corrugation, plastic wrapping rolls, sleep sheets, labels, caps, pallets, and ingredients (chocolate powder, stabilizer Drink concentrate).
    • Controls ingredient working inventory in ingredient room.
    • Ensures proper procedures are in place & being followed for production efficiency, quality of product, employee safety, state & federal guidelines.
    • Helps maintain proper inventory and MIPs loss control. It includes material stored in trailers. Maintains a tight control of product in trailer with records and proper documentation. Always use FIFO.
    • Works with Plant Management & other Supervisory Staff to ensure operations have safe stocks of all materials, packaging, and ingredients.
    • Reduces the overtime of designated hourly employees. Supervises warehouse and assistant hourly employees.
    • Have an open mind & make recommendations for improvement to reduce costs & drive productivity within the department while achieving the targeted goals set by management.
    • Ensures warehouse is maintained clean and the outside of it is always neat and organized.
    • Generates purchase requisition of all materials and ingredients.
    • Monitor levels of sucrose, fructose and resin so there are always adequate and safe stocks.
    • Ensures that all paperwork filled out by the staff is complete and accurate for traceability and regulatory purposes.
    • Work & collaborate with other departments & other supervisors to achieve daily goals set forth by management.
    • Provides for the supervision of assigned employees in scheduling & daily activities, ensuring effective selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action & giving positive feedback when an employee is performing well.
    • Train & instruct employees regarding work performed in warehousing. Oversees instruction implementation & enforcement of policies as they relate to employees.
    • Engages in typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating & delegating tasks.
    • Leads by example. This includes following company rules, policies, standards & specifications.
    • Performs all other tasks & duties assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred, or a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.
    • Knowledge and practices Good Manufacturing Practices.
    • Experience leading & following Safety/Security Polices & Procedures.
    • Ability to follow all sanitation & quality policies & Procedures.
