    ABOUT THE ROLE
    As a Control Systems Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing and implementing turbomachinery control solutions for our clients in our CCC division. You will work closely with our customers to understand their requirements and develop customized control systems that optimize the performance and efficiency of their turbomachinery. Your expertise in control systems engineering and turbomachinery design will ensure the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.

    You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

    In this role, you will impact the success of our clients' operations by delivering innovative control solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of their turbomachinery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of control systems into our clients' existing infrastructure.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with customers to understand their turbomachinery control requirements and develop customized solutions.
    • Design and implement control systems that optimize the performance and efficiency of turbomachinery.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control systems during installation and commissioning.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of control systems into clients' infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their turbomachinery control requirements and develop customized solutions.
    • Work to proactively identify customer solutions with tangible economic benefits.
    • Assist in the development and scope of control strategies and software requirements.
    • Configure and conduct tests on control systems and develop specifications for third-party equipment and instrumentation.
    • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the functionality and reliability of control systems.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in control systems engineering or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of turbomachinery control systems and their applications
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as: ladder, FBD (function block diagram), C/C++, python, VBA.
    • Proficiency in designing, integrating, and troubleshooting industrial control systems using PLC and HMI.

    WE VALUE

    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
    • Experience with turbomachinery control solutions in the oil and gas industry
    • Experience with chemical processes involving large turbomachinery (compressors and turbines) in the oil and gas industry.
    • Project management skills and experience
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
