Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $52 to $55 per hour.

Book inventory and margin related journal entriesPrepare related Balance Sheet ReconciliationsPrepare margin analysis packages for managementExplain variances to budget/ forecastOversee the financial portion of the company's Fair Trade programAssist in Global inventory purchase forecastingInventory reserve adjustments and analysisOverhead and standard cost variance analysisResearch and reconcile inventory variances in integrated systemsAudit, verify, and administer inventory movementDocument system glitchesAssist with year-end financial audit and special projects

Requirements:
Experience in accounting, preferably focused on cost and inventory accountingExperience with large enterprise ERP and related tools for reporting and analysisProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills

Microsoft D365, TM1, Power BI and Tableau a plus

Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
