The Opportunity

This role is integral to developing and refining our cognitive science-driven learning platform. You will be at the forefront of creating engaging, practical educational experiences that are scientifically validated to enhance learning and retention.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Lead initiatives to integrate cognitive science theories and findings into our digital tutor platform.
• Learning Experience Design: Design educational content and strategies that align with cognitive principles to maximize learning efficiency and engagement.
• Data-Driven Personalization: Develop algorithms and models for personalizing learning experiences based on cognitive profiles and learning behaviors.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and validate assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and cognitive development.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with AI developers, product managers, and educational experts to ensure our educational products' scientific accuracy and practical effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in applied cognitive research, preferably in an educational technology context.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in experimental design and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex scientific concepts to non-expert audiences.
• Commitment to Learnable's mission of transforming learning through innovative technology.

Compensation
