    Human Resource Generalist

    (Job Description)

    Autokiniton provides value-driven, sustainable automotive components and assembly solutions for our customers in the automotive industry. Our plant in Bellevue, Ohio has an immediate need for an HR Generalist who will report to the Human Resource Manager. Autokiniton offers a rewarding compensation and benefits package along with an opportunity to grow in a stable and high growth company.

    This position will report to the Human Resources Manager, and will be responsible for the following – including but not limited to:

    • Support the Company's mission, vision, values, and goals in the performance of daily activities.
    • Maintain positive colleague relations through effective communication and prompt attention to colleague concerns.
    • Assist salaried associates in preparing and documenting disciplinary action.
    • Maintain applicant files and records as required by federal and state law.
    • Conduct exit interviews with all terminated associates.
    • Assist in maintaining training records for all associates.
    • Assist associates as a facilitator with the insurance companies and with Corporate Benefits.
    • Maintain accurate records for all associates and prepare disciplinary write-ups as necessary.
    • Assist in processing all MESC forms and represent the company at all unemployment hearings.
    • Manage unemployment and workers compensation claims
    • Assist in maintaining all active and terminated files in compliance to federal and state employment laws.
    • Assist with associate relations "fun activities" (ex Picnic, Christmas Party) and community service activities (ex. Blood Drive, United Way, etc.).
    • Tracks and report department metrics on a monthly/annual basis.
    • Assists in the design and implementation of improved processes, structures, and approaches.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.
    • Process Payroll Weekly
    • Advise managers on organizational policy matters
    • Create and maintain reports as necessary
    • FMLA and Workman's Comp management
    • Facilitate company travel arrangements as necessary
    • Assist employees with benefit enrollment and questions as neede

    Required Skills Required Experience

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • College degree or related experience
    • 3 years or more of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with 300+ employees
    • Experience with Microsoft products
    • Experience in a union environment a plus

    Experience with ADP (Payroll) or similar HRIS a plus
