Futurex is looking for talented individuals to strengthen our suite of cryptographic devices. Be part of our mission to improve 'ease of use versus security' by joining our battle against cyber threats.

Collaborate cutting-edge technologies with industry standards at Futurex's Engineering Campus in Bulverde, located 15 miles north of San Antonio, Texas. Work in agile project-based teams to enhance features of the Futurex 'Hardened Enterprise Security Platform'.

This role involves leveraging crypto and key management concepts to add features to C++ applications servicing Futurex hardware security modules.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and troubleshoot applications interfacing with Futurex's embedded cryptographic devices
Develop and document APIs and protocols for external system interactions
Adhere to published standards and technical documentation

Requirements

Required

Software development experience in C++
Proficiency in Linux environment
3-5+ years of enterprise software development experience

Strongly Prefer

Professional experience in C++
Experience with C++11 memory management
Experience with C++98 memory management
Participated in peer code review
Proficient in Python and Bash scripts
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or engineering

Preferred

Experience in reading and writing C code
Understanding of cryptographic concepts
Knowledge of TLS and PKI certificates
Experience with docker and docker-compose
Usage of Jenkins and Jenkinsfiles for CI/CD
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Full-stack web development experience (Nginx, Flask)
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab
Experience with Berkeley socket API
