    Job Title

    Job Summary:

    This is a multifaceted role where duties encompass basic patient care tasks directed by licensed therapists to overseeing operational activities for the department.

    Scope

    As an Activities Coordinator, you will:

    • Develop and direct overall operations of the department according to state and federal guidelines.
    • Assess residents and patients to determine their needs, preferences, abilities, and strengths.
    • Design individualized activity plans to promote social, cognitive, spiritual, and overall wellbeing of our patients and residents.
    • Create and promote group activities to enhance quality of life through peer interaction and multigenerational engagement.
    • Expand knowledge and develop staff reporting to you.
    • Contribute to facility and safety program improvements.
    • Communicate compassionately and effectively.


    Key Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional licensure or registration in Montana, with certification eligibility.
    • Minimum two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, including one year in a healthcare setting.
    • Current, valid MT Driver's license and proof of insurability.

    Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking

    Work Details:

    Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, Montana

    Working Hours:

    40 hours per week

    Compensation:

    $18.12 - $23.55
