    Showroom Sales Associate: Showroom Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service when working with homeowners, contractors, architects, designers (and their clients) in choosing from a wide variety of fashion or rough plumbing products. Directly reports to Branch Manager.

    Essential Job Functions: The following duties ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification. Shown are duties intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties.

    Responsibilities

    · Responsible for collaborating with designers, architects, customer builders, and homeowners in our showroom, offering expert guidance and product recommendations.

    · Responsible for providing exceptional customer service through all phases of the selling process to our customers and their representatives (designers, contractors, etc.) ensuring correct product is ordered, received, and delivered within agreed upon timeframes.

    · Responsible for communicating and sharing information professionally with customers and all members of staff.

    · Work independently while still being a part of a team and multitask throughout the day while prioritizing projects as needed.

    · Maintain accurate and organized files.

    · Develop long-term relationships with trade customers and vendors.

    · Perform routine showroom appearance maintenance as needed.

    · Other tasks as assigned.

    Requirements Skills / Abilities:

    · Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).

    · Ability to effectively communicate and share information in a concise professional manner either verbally or through written correspondence.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.

    · Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

    · Demonstrates acute attention to detail.

    · Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    · Initiative driven with bias for action.

    · Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a team environment.

    · Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.

    Education and Experience:

    · High school Diploma or equivalent required.

    · Wholesale distribution sales experience preferred.

    · Minimum 2 years in similar sales position preferred.

    · Minimum 1 year in progressive sales or design position featuring plumbing or home products preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    · Prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting at a desk while working on a computer.

    · Willingness to work in an ambient warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.

    · Minimally must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
