- All essential functions of a Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician II.
- Demonstrate advanced expertise and experience in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Take a lead role in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Conduct in-depth inspections and analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of control systems.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and rectify problems.
- Installs, programs, troubleshoots, and repairs programmable logic controller (PLC).
- Performs electrical wiring from low voltage through 480-volt 3 phase industrial systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician II team members.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies related to maintenance.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
- Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.
- Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

- Wear/use required PPE (personal protective equipment).
- Understand written instruction and complete appropriate documentation as directed.
- Use a logical approach to troubleshooting issues and prioritizing production needs.
- Recognize problems when they occur and to work toward the solution of those problems.

- In additional to Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician II qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, mechanical maintenance), or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
- Journeyman electrical license is a plus.
- Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of complex machinery and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced maintenance techniques, including predictive and condition-based maintenance.
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for diagnosing and repairing complex issues.
- Experience managing maintenance projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and train junior technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally climb stairs to retrieve stock items.
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Repetitive grasping with hands.
- Walking and/or standing up to 10-12 hours per day, 6 days per week if applicable.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, and reaching following recommended standards.
- The individual will be expected to work in a manufacturing plant environment, which may include being exposed to work in high, precarious, and confined spaces, outdoor weather conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, and extreme heat. Typical noise level is loud. The individual may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

This position offers a built-in bonus that is paid throughout the new hires first year of employment.
It is paid out as outlined below:
* $500 bonus once the new hire reaches 3 months or continued employment.
* $500 bonus once the new hire reaches 6 months or continued employment.
* $1,000 bonus once the new hire reaches 12 months or continued employment.
Night shift is also eligible for an additional $1.50/hr as a shift differential.
SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks in order to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function.
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be a senior member of the maintenance team and will have extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of systems and equipment.
In addition to performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks, you will take a leadership role in coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities.
