- Listen to customer requirements and provide advice and recommendations.
- Diagnose vehicle performance issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Inspect vehicles, identify necessary maintenance and repair needs.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services.
- Monitoring and maintain proper oil and fluid levels.
- Test and inspect components for wear and tear.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in automotive service database.
- Maintain shop tools, equipment, and workspace in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical school or trade school completion is preferable
- Ability to read and comprehend work orders
- Must possess strong communication skills
- 1-2 years of experience in related field
- Ability to lift tools and equipment of up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of basic computer system

The Oil Change/Lube Technician at Dow Autoplex is responsible for performing oil changes and other routine maintenance services on automotive vehicles.
The Oil Change/Lube Technician will work as a part of a busy automotive service team, ensuring that job-related tasks are completed with precision and in a timely manner.
This is a Full-Time, hourly position, with opportunity for bonuses that takes place in our Mineola, Texas location.Compensation & Benefits
The Oil Change/Lube Technician will receive a competitive hourly wage, with pay increases based on performance. Benefits, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, are available after 90 days of employment. Vacation and Paid Time Off will be provided after one year of service.
