About the Location
Hybrid Position:
This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart's FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity.
Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs.
About the JobJob Description – Sr. Marketing Manager, Veterinary Services
As part of the Integrated Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Manager – Vet Services
is focused on creating and implementing omni-channel marketing initiatives for our Veterinary offerings (and in particular PetSmart Veterinary Services) to drive new customer acquisition and capitalize on key growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic marketing background, with experience delivering successful initiatives for brands or categories with a diverse product and/or services portfolio.
What You'll Do:
Serve as key marketing lead for PetSmart Veterinary Services (PVS), translating business goals & consumer insights into complementary marketing strategies & programs that drive customer growth and loyalty for this unique franchise model
Manage national PVS marketing royalties in close partnership with Director, building & implementing national marketing campaigns (localized to PVS locations) to drive customer acquisition & conversion
Oversee development of localized franchisee marketing tools that enable Veterinarian owner-operators to grow their business, utilizing local marketing royalties
Brief campaigns, develop marketing plans, ensure plan execution, and recap results in partnership with marketing, digital & creative cross-functional teams
Update Vet Services team, key Veterinarian partners & marketing leadership on the results from various initiatives, including key measurements, learnings, and next steps
Develop marketing strategies that support our overall Vet portfolio, with the objective of creating a customer pipeline & building general awareness of our industry-leading availability of in-store Veterinary Services
Provide marketing support as needed to other independent Veterinarian operators within our stores
Partner closely with PVS Liaison, assuming a leadership role by providing guidance and support, fostering a collaborative environment between the teams, and disseminating pertinent information as needed
Role may require supervision of direct report(s) in the future
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree is a plus
7+ years of marketing experience in a retail business (ideally Omnichannel), or an agency that services retail businesses developing and executing strategic marketing plans
Past franchise marketing experience
Past managerial experience
Track record of delivering successful and innovative marketing initiatives that drive business (not just marketing engagement or reach) results and create affinity for your company/brand
Understanding of omni-channel retail marketing models
Ability to create go-to-market programs using digital media and data-driven insights
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
Exceptional ability to convince and influence at multiple levels
Solutions-oriented mindset and attention to detail
Ability to create strong internal and external partnerships across the organization
A love of pets (of course)
