Purpose And Scope Of Position
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to join our team In this role, you will be assisting in many different administrative tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and directing them appropriately with proper communication
- Operate multi-line phone systems, handle incoming calls.
- Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office Suit.
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and reminders for staff.
- Support in additional administrative and HR responsibilities.
- Provide customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email and supporting client needs.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to maintain a professional, courteous demeanor in all interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Prior office experience in a clerical position
- Strong organizational skills and ability to pay attention to details.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for 8 hours a day.
- Ability to alternate between sitting and standing.
- Ability to perform fine manipulation such as typing for 8 hours.
Work Environment
- Office setting.
- Warehouse production setting in the back with occasionally loud environment when multiple machines are running.
- When entering the laboratory setting must follow GMP compliance such as a hairnet, beard net for any facial hair, lab coat, long pants, and closed toed shoes.
- Facial piercings must be removable when in the lab.
Schedule
8:00 AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
