    The Inside Sales Representative will prove pivotal in the continued growth of Simple Safety Solutions expansion initiatives. Working directly with the General Manager you will have responsibility for developing new customers, cultivating and qualifying leads and closing new business. You will manage customer expectations from an inside sales and customer service perspective. This position requires a self-directed, forward thinking, and energetic person who is results oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow through.

    How Will You Do This?

    Receive and respond to inbound calls and emails from current and potential customers

    Place outbound sales calls to prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.

    Prepare and issue quotations for all product lines based on customer's RFP

    Advise customers of potential fall protection solutions

    Utilize CRM tools to archive quotes, track pipeline progress, and create follow-up action items

    Follow-up on leads and quotations as required/directed

    Utilize web-based tools to track construction projects and create proactive leads

    Provide post-sale support to customers

    Develop, maintain, and grow customer relationships within assigned region

    Perform other tasks as requested by the General Manager or company directors


    Requirements

    We Want to Hear from You If You Have:

    Minimum 2 year Engineering/Sales/Marketing degree or equivalent experience, preferred

    Previous experience in inside sales or technical discipline

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal

    Proactive mindset to recognize opportunities for lead generation and sales

    Self-motivated, individual contributor and team player

    Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

    Technical "mindset" an advantage

    Able to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements

    This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and filing cabinets.

    The role may require occasional local travel to a construction site or clients facility where the employee must be able to lift, climb (including above average heights), move, pull and transport at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. maximum infrequently. At customer sites the employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment including steel toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection and/or respirators.
