- The acquisition of the OHIO Class replacement and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) of the COLUMBIA Class
- The acquisition of New Construction Submarines and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E), and Fleet introduction of the U.S
- Provide engineering and systems engineering support to the Program Office.
- Prepare and execute environmental documentation for exercises as it required by US law.
- Recommend course of action(s) for unexpected technical and programmatic issues related to RDT&E.
- Generate Acquisition documentation for Milestone Reviews.
- Perform technical planning, cost, schedule, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analysis for total systems; analyses performed at concept, design, test, evaluation, and operational phases.
- Review and develop analytical and technical input needed in order to evaluate documentation and development of briefs to ensure accurate, timely and essential information is provided to decision makers.
- Prepare unclassified and classified briefs for audiences up to and including the Flag Level.
- Attend meetings and specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Set high personal standards for performance and conduct.
- Demonstrate ability to be a team player; work well with others; contribute positively to work/team environment while continually seeking ways to enhance contribution to the team.
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or similar technical degree (Physics, Chemistry, etc.).
- Have zero to two years' experience.
- A current or active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- The ability to travel at least 10% of the time
- Possess work experience in the Navy, specifically within Team Submarine or aboard submarines is a plus
