    Job Description

    Job is seeking to hire a Transportation Clerk for our client in Decatur IL
    Benefits Available
    Weekly Pay
    18.25 per hour

    Job Responsibilities

    Analyze and correct daily EDI freight bill errors.
    Process paper freight, switch, and transload invoices.
    Ensure timely processing or dispute resolution of rail lease and accessorial invoices using Maximo.
    Complete monthly carrier aging reports.
    Assist with receivable processing tasks.
    Manage relationships with internal and external customers.
    Cross-train on various rail payables desks.
    Duties may evolve over time, and this list does not cover all responsibilities.

    Job Requirements

    High school diploma required; minimum 2 years of general office or accounting experience preferred.
    Proficient in data entry, keyboard, multi-line telephone, and ten-key skills.
    Basic understanding of mathematical and accounting procedures.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    Familiarity with Maximo, OPGO, CICS, and IMS systems is advantageous.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
