Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Position: Full-Time, variable shifts 40 hours per week

Department Overview: Join our high-energy department that utilizes a state-of-the-art automation line, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you will play a crucial role in our team dedicated to delivering exceptional laboratory services and contributing to cutting-edge advancements in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory procedures across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory data, maintaining high standards of quality control and assurance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related laboratory science from an accredited institution.
• State of Florida Technologist/Technician License; Certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent.
• Completion of 4-6 week orientation period is required.
