    Job Description
    A client in the Huntsville area is looking to add a Business Development lead to their team.

    As part of the role, you will establish and nurture relationships with key clients, including NAVSEA, NAVWAR, NSWCPD, and NAVAIR.

    Additionally, you'll strategically collaborate with other organizations to support client missions and corporate growth objectives.

    Your tasks involve developing business development and capture strategies, creating and maintaining an account plan for target market areas, and identifying growth opportunities by aligning with the client's past performance and contract placements.

    You'll actively manage the opportunity pipeline, initiate non-disclosure and teaming agreements, and coordinate activities across the entire business development and capture lifecycle.

    This includes identifying opportunities, assessing customer needs and risks, and leading win strategies through competitive analysis, teaming efforts, and client engagement.

    Supporting the client's business development and capture processes, you'll participate in various opportunity activities such as white papers, RFIs, workshops, industry events, and proposal reviews, while keeping stakeholders informed of opportunity status and milestones throughout the capture process.

    Skills and Requirements
    8+ years of business development or capture experience in the DoD industry
    Business development or capture experience specific to Navy contracts
    Confidence in working with Government and Industry personnel
    Knowledge of all phases of the acquisition and business development lifecycles
    Bachelors degree or higher (6 years of experience can be used in lieu of degree)
    US Citizen with a minimum of a Secret clearance Experience supporting NAVSEA, NAVWAR, NSWCPD, NAVAIR
    Working knowledge of Navy operations and acquisition strategies
    Understanding of all contract types to include single award, MAC, IDIQ, CPFF T&M and FFP contracts
    Experience using Salesforce
    Top Secret clearance null
