    Hospitality Operations Manager

We are on the lookout for dedicated restaurant general managers and assistant managers who have a solid job history and a passion for the culinary world. As the Hospitality Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in directing all aspects of restaurant operations while ensuring top-notch food, service, health, and safety standards are consistently met.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Establish and drive operational goals and objectives.
    • Evaluate staffing needs and lead recruitment efforts.
    • Train, mentor, and coach team members for success.
    • Develop and execute standard operating procedures.
    • Supervise staff performance in alignment with set standards.
    • Ensure adherence to established industry codes of practice.
    • Schedule and manage staff efficiently.
    • Maintain accurate employee records.
    • Co-ordinate restaurant operations effectively during shifts.
    • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
    • Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience.
    • Provide expert advice on food and beverage selections.
    • Oversee food and beverage preparation processes.
    • Ensure dishes are crafted according to established recipes.
    • Uphold the highest quality standards for food presentation.
    • Manage portion sizes and preparation quantities to minimize waste.
    • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Accurately total and reconcile restaurant receipts with sales.
    • Manage cash handling procedures with precision.
    • Set financial budgets and monitor adherence to them.
    • Implement cost-saving measures effectively.
    • Plan and analyze restaurant sales and revenue.
    • Prepare and interpret management reports for better decision-making.
    • Identify and implement operational improvements.
    • Estimate food and beverage supply needs and conduct supplier orders.
    • Inspect quality of deliveries and ensure proper storage.
    • Organize maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.
    • Conduct competitor analysis to identify market opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field.
    • Previous experience in food and beverage management.
    • Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Proven track record in staff management and development.
    • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial data analysis.
    • Experience with inventory management and cost control strategies.
    • Familiar with planning and forecasting processes.
    • Proficient in administrative procedures and relevant software applications.
