- Deliver brief clinical interventions to STRIDE's diverse patient population in an integrated primary care setting, including screening/assessment for behavioral health disorders, substance use concerns, stress, and/or behavioral challenges with medical regimen, and providing brief therapy services when indicated
- Provide culturally sensitive mental health and substance use treatment to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
- Contribute as a member of multidisciplinary teams (comprised of medical, dental, care coordination, health education and other BHPs) in delivering behavioral health services to STRIDE's patients

Description
STRIDE Community Health Center is a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 30-year history of providing primary care and other health-related services in a community-based setting. Established in 1989 in response to the primary health care needs of the medically indigent population in suburban Denver, STRIDE Community Health Center has one of the largest population base of any FQHC in Colorado and provides primary care, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, health education, care coordination, patient navigation, pharmacy, and outreach and enrollment services in accordance with its mission.
What will you be doing in this role? A successful candidate will:
General Purpose: This Licensed Master's Level Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) provides clinical mental health services to patients in our highly integrated primary care setting.
Behavioral Health Providers (BHPs) work collaboratively with primary care and dental providers to reduce barriers to mental health care. Much of the day is spent providing brief screenings, assessments, psychoeducation and brief therapeutic services in the medical exam room or an in-clinic consultation room. BHPs carry a small caseload of patients for therapy services. BHPs may also work in collaboration with internal and external psychiatric providers to enhance the care of patients taking medication. This position is entirely clinical in nature and responsibility.

Knowledge, skill and ability:
Master's degree completed in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Social Work degree and licensure may be required depending on site
