**Local IT Support Specialist**

As an IT Specialist, Local Support you will:
Be the representative and face of group IT for the site.
Tailor services and support processes to fulfil the diverse needs of a broad customer demographic
Work closely with the business to ensure that initiatives are prioritised, resources are utilised effectively, and services are delivered to an agreed level of availability and quality
Liaison with internal departments, colleagues in Pilgrims and JBS and external partners to ensure optimal levels of service availability, quality and performance in accordance with the requirements of the business
Act as a point of escalation for onsite Incidents, Problems and Service Requests
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a customer facing role within an IT setting and be able to effectively build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. They will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to present effectively. They will also need a proven ability to define and implement processes and policies in support of business objectives. Other key requirements are Higher Education (or equivalent vocational experience) and a full UK Driving License.
