About This Role

Corporate Strategy & New Businesses plays a key role in defining, prioritizing, and pursuing strategic growth opportunities for Biogen.

This position offers exposure to various colleagues across the organization and requires strong collaboration in evaluating internal and external investment opportunities.

You will contribute to developing disease area strategies and exploring new growth areas, as well as leading market assessments and asset evaluations objectively.

Ultimately, you will help drive Biogen's mission to deliver innovative medicines to individuals worldwide dealing with complex diseases.

What You'll Do

Lead and support strategic assessments to guide investment decisions for growth opportunities
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and product positioning opportunities
Identify and evaluate external growth opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional partners
Align with key stakeholders across the value chain to present investment recommendations
Support corporate strategic planning and portfolio optimization
Strengthen team culture aligned with Biogen's core values

Qualifications

Required Skills

10-12 years' experience in Life Sciences strategy, commercial, or business roles
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and customer-centric approach
Proficiency in market analysis and scenario forecasting
Experience in providing executive recommendations
Ability to challenge the status quo
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in Marketing, Market Research, or Business Development
