- Identify and locate new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calling while continuing to service existing accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies for sales and apply knowledge of the products and services offered by Goldfinch Brothers, Inc. to match the needs of the customer.
- Provide information, quotes, terms, and other bid specifications including negotiation of pricing.
- Manage and maintain sales account statuses and leads reports and submit weekly work plans.
- Collaborate with vendors, purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency.
- Recommend changes in products and services to the customer by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Monitor current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external staff and customers.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and sales goals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet the needs of customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
- 3+ years experience of residential window sales (or related product) a must.
- An associate degree preferred from a 2 year or technical college; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
