    SUMMARY:

    As an Admissions Team Member, you are responsible for cash control of your till, selling credits for all attractions, and selling beverages at designated carts. The Admissions Team Member will also be enforcing all park policies and safety guidelines in accordance with The Funplex's Policies and Procedures. You will provide exceptional guest service while delivering thrills and excitement. You will ensure excellent guest service by responding to and exceeding their requirements, expectations and needs. In all you do, you will consistently practice safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipment:

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Clean the admissions ticket booths and carts, perform safety inspections, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day, including sweeping ticket booth enclosures, cleaning ticket booth structures, seats, and other miscellaneous duties
    • Operate admissions POS during normal and unusual situations and different modes of operations. The Admissions Team Member will closely monitor all ride statues and guests to ensure safe and efficient operation.
    • Respond quickly to unusual situations during normal operation, including power failure, operating system faults or shutdowns, fire, and guest evacuation.
    • Provide verbal instructions to guests at the start of each transaction.
    • Check and redeem proper credits on each card.
    • Monitor and respond to inappropriate guest behavior, enforce rules and restrictions, regulate guests' actions, and request assistance from Operations Leadership as needed.
    • Must exhibit a high degree of motivation toward providing guest satisfaction by displaying a friendly approach to service guests. In addition, must be able to deal with many guests each day in a positive and friendly manner.
    • Must be flexible to work a different positions and must be knowledgeable of all workstation's requirements and functions.
    • During training periods, must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Standard Operating Procedures and the Seasonal Employee Handbook, and comprehend verbal instructions
    • Will be working around high noise levels from the amusement rides and carious equipment. Must be able to remain focused on the job while dealing with interruptions from guests and/or other employees
    • Must be willing to confirm to The Funplex's Grooming Guidelines and wear the proper issued uniform. A neat, clean professional appearance is required at all times.
    • Must be willing and able to perform all other job duties and assignments as assigned by management.
    • Perform basic mathematical computations.
    • Gather lost and found items and maintain proper logging.
    • Must be able or willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with co-workers, supervisors, and The Funplex guests.
    • Able to learn and understand all policies and procedures pertinent to the department and the functions of the job.

    • Able to deal with guests in a friendly, but firm manner to provide for a good guest experience and enforce safety rules.

    • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Able to handle stressful situation in a calm, professional manner.
    • Able to follow daily operations and closing procedures in order to operate the ride as instructed, enforce safety rules and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all work areas.
    • Able to respond quickly to unusual situations during normal operation, including power failure and/or operating system faults or shutdowns, and fires.
    • Able to handle minor complaints and suggestions from our guests in a calm and professional manner or seek additional assistance from supervisor if necessary.
    • Perform inspection checklists accurately and honestly according to procedure.
    • Clean work area daily or more often, as needed.

    About the Organization
    Lahn Hospitality and Amusement Group is a growing family-owned company comprised of a variety of hospitality businesses including amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses and more.

    Since 1997 The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with three locations along the East Coast. Two locations are in New Jersey with one additional small footprint park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina which opened in 2021. The parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades.

    In December of 2021, Lahn Hospitality Group purchased The Legacy Club at Woodcrest located in Cherry Hill, NJ; a country club with a prestigious golf course and membership. The club has recently had a significant renovation. In addition, the group opened its first dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, Fall of 2023.
