- Execute activities to realize the Digital Manufacturing strategy, aligning with corporate roadmaps/architecture.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards (HSE) and Zero Harm program expectations.
- Maintain product safety and quality standards, reducing risks and driving product Right First Time.
- Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes and digital systems.
- Plan, manage, and communicate project activities, resolving issues and risks to meet project timescales.
- Develop, implement, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and digital systems.
- Deploy standardized Digital Manufacturing processes and technologies across the Production lifecycle.
- Collaborate with interfacing teams, share knowledge, and document best practices.
- Provide coaching and technical support, and develop external relationships with partners and suppliers.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experience deploying Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a Production environment.
- Must have a good understanding of relevant manufacturing processes.
- Awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools.
- Knowledge of Python and MS SQL Server preferred.

Talascend is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a long-term (24 month) contract assignment with our manufacturing client based in Cypress, California
Candidates must be locally based, willing to work on-site. No sponsorship nor relocation support is available.
OVERVIEW:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in executing activities to realize the Digital Manufacturing strategy within the business. This includes fixing, improving, and transforming current and future digital capabilities in line with corporate roadmaps/architecture. You will ensure readiness for process changes introduced by systems, compliance with health, safety, environmental standards, and drive product quality and efficiency.
