This includes updating work orders, creating and modifying PM's, logging the department hours, creating and maintaining spare parts, etc.Prepare, execute and participate in the maintenance department to service all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and avoid unexpected break downsExecute on work orders for the preventive and predictive maintenance schedule demonstrating efficiency of time managementSupport activities that include outside resources to assist in effective maintenance performance such as contractors, specialized equipment (i.e., crane, man-lift, etc.)
Proactively recognize equipment issues and initiate work requestsRespond to on-call requests (rotating responsibility) after-hours to meet the needs of Manufacturing/Production for critical downtime activitiesAbility to work long hours or irregular hours as needed.
Participate in meetings such as process hazards analysis (PHA), management of change (MOC), incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), Joint Health Safety Committee (JHSC).
As requiredResponsible for full participation in behavioral safety for a zero incident, zero exposure, work culture.Including use of Stop Work authority, reporting safety observations, and collective participation in corrective actions.

Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor this role is responsible for maintenance of all manufacturing machinery and equipment within the Moncure plant site.
