- Review customer's technical requirements to design, select and configure pumps, and pumping systems.
- Respond to customer requests by understanding their pumping system needs and offer the best solution.
- Provides design engineers with technical information collection.
- As a slurry pump expert, provide technical support to outside sales, inside sales and customers.
- Troubleshoot customer issues regarding Townley slurry pumps by visiting sites and diagnosing the issue.
- Ability to lay out and space pumps for our customers.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge necessary to service customers within their assigned market.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, and 3-5 years of applicable experience.
- Extensive knowledge of centrifugal slurry pumps and pump systems required.
- 25% travel each month to industrial sites.
- SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor knowledge and experience with 3D design software required.
- Ability to operate general office equipment including personal computers. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Communicate effectively orally and written.

We have an available opportunity for a Sales Application Engineer to join our team. This position is our subject matter expert in relation to our Townley slurry pumps.
