    Description

    Senior Program Manager

    • Looking for a senior resource to oversee and manage 3 projects (1 large, 2 smaller).
    • The project dates will overlap, and this person will need to manage more than one, simultaneously.
    • Resource expected to be needed 10-11 months.
    • The projects involve engagement across multiple teams and third party vendors, so the ideal candidate would have this background as well.
    • The projects also involve a range of health-related aspects (prior authorizations, utilization management, claims, etc.). Health insurance experience, or experience with health terminology, is nice to have but not required.
    • The most important thing is that they have strong facilitation skills, have management of multiple large projects, can work collaboratively, and can be flexible in a hybrid environment (Agile & Waterfall.) They should have personal experience with both methodologies.
    • Ideal candidate would have experience with IT implementations, but they do not need to be extremely technical. Need experience with MS Project, Jira, and Powerpoint. There will be business-side and enterprise technology Client.
    • There will not be individual Project Managers under them. They will be hands on - facilitating, meeting with the teams, and assisting in building user stories for all three projects over the course of their assignment.
    • The ideal candidate would be local and occasionally willing to commute to Hingham. There is not a strict schedule while they are a contractor, but their team and project stakeholders are expected to be onsite about once a week, and their presence (even 1-2x/month) would add collaborative value.
    • Finding the right combination of soft skills (flexible, facilitation) and hands-on experience (user stories, stand ups, etc.) has been a challenge in the past. No hard skills to evaluate, but every candidate submitted should be able to give examples of their experience managing multiple projects/ programs. Experience with Agile should be evident from resume.
