    Duties


    The Data Engineer works closely with a multidisciplinary agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions to generate insights from our connected data, enabling Kraft Heinz to advance data-driven decision-making capabilities across the enterprise.

    Specific duties include building backend data tables necessary for analysis, reporting, debugging, validation; using Git for source code management, distributed version control coding enables tracking changes, checkpoints to revert to; using DBT for automating data cleaning, formatting, data pipelines to combine data from multiple sources, etc.; using Unix bash commands for workflow orchestration, moving, editing, or deleting files; using Azure DevOps repos to write up project documentation, serve as code repository, make pull requests, code review, project management, etc.; developing and maintaining data warehouses in big data solutions e.g.

    , Snowflake; developing solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data analytics space; leading the implementation and deployment of emerging tools and process for data engineering to measure quality; partnering with machine learning and business intelligence engineers to develop strategic enterprise projects


    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, or Engineering, and three (3) years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence-related role. Previous work or academic experience must have included SQL; Git; DBT; Linux/Unix Bash Scripting; Python; Azure DevOps Repos; Snowflake; and Tableau.

    Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness.
