Description
DIRECTOR OF GRADUATE STUDENT SUPPORT, Associate Provost for Graduate Affairs Tracking Code Job DescriptionThe Director of Graduate Student Support is a leader in Graduate Affairs, responsible for developing and maintaining University-wide partnerships, overseeing strategic projects and communications, Master's and professional student resources, and the graduate student appeals process in the Office of the Provost. The Director will be an experienced student affairs leader well-versed in current trends of higher education, able to identify and respond to emerging needs in graduate education through developing programs, collaborative projects, and contributing to University policy development.

The Director will oversee and conceptualize strategic communication efforts in Graduate Affairs, including re-visioning and regular updating of the Graduate Education website, developing a communications strategy for student engagement and leading efforts to communicate with graduate and professional students, including through a fall welcome letter and editorial oversight of the Doctoral Digest. The director may coordinate a re-envisioned Graduate Student Advisory Board.
4. Student Appeals (10%):
The Director will oversee the student appeals process in areas including academic misconduct, Title IX, and access accommodation. The director will draft responses and make recommendations to the Associate Provost.

Work in collaboration with the Graduate Enrollment team, IS&T, and ENSA to support and improve the graduate student experience across various university-wide systems, including the Student Information System (SIS).
