    Engineering Manager–NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR.

    Lead a development team delivering end-to-end technology solutions in support of Nike's Integrated Demand Planning (IDP) capabilities; ensure the team is bringing to bear Nike's Global Technology delivery methodology to develop Demand Planning capabilities; maintain of industry trends and leads the development of key innovation platforms; develop and lead team metrics.

    oversee the strengthening of the team by mentoring, assessing performance, and crafting opportunities for development; collaborate with Planning & Manufacturing leadership to develop Engineering vision, strategy, and execution plans that are aligned with business outcomes; partner with Enterprise Architecture, Commercial Analytics, and source data owners to develop a sustainable roadmap for Engineering capability; and partner with Technical Product Management and Business Product Management to ensure outcomes are aligned with business expectations and partner with Engineering Directors and other Engineering Managers to build an effective team and partnership with collaborators.

    Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

    Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.


    Experience must include the following:
    Planning systems such as Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics, and SaaS;

    Cloud computing technologies including AWS and Microsoft Azure;

    Version Control Management tools including GitHub, Git, and Bitbucket;

    Programming Languages such as Java, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Bigdata QL, and JavaScript;

    Database management systems;

    Streaming Platforms & Integration Services including Apache Framework, Spark, Kafka, and Kinesis;

    Big data analytics and reporting;

    Analytics Tools such as IBM Cognos, Tableau, and Alteryx;

    Automation Technologies including Terraform, Jenkins, Airflow, and Autosys; and

    Agile Delivery Methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum and supporting tools Jira and Confluence.
