Baer is looking for SAP GTS Consultant for a 6+ month project located in Houston, TX.

Title:
SAP GTS Consultant

Location:
Remote with 50% Travel to Houston, TX

Rate:
Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Lead and participate in SAP GTS implementations, ensuring successful configuration and customization to meet business requirements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solutions within SAP GTS.

Design and architect SAP GTS solutions, ensuring they align with overall business strategies and integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

Identify opportunities to improve trade compliance and logistics processes using SAP GTS functionalities. Provide comprehensive training to end-users and support teams. Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure effective system usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GTS modules. Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes. Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Ensure SAP GTS processes comply with international trade regulations and company policies. 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS, with a minimum of four full-cycle SAP GTS implementations.
In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, and Electronic Compliance Reporting.

Strong understanding of SAP GTS integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP TM) and third-party systems.

Proficiency in developing training materials and conducting user training sessions. Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation.
Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements, including customs and export control laws.
SAP GTS certification is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
