Overview:
The Room Attendant will be responsible for servicing guest rooms and ensuring a thorough cleaning process in the hotel following Brand and CDC cleanliness guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms daily.
- Remove trash and dirty linen from public spaces, hallways, and rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, public areas, and closets by vacuuming and organizing.
- Restock cleaning supplies like bleach, mops, wipes, and brooms.
- Replenish chemical bottles as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness satisfaction in rooms, public areas, and guest touchpoints.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Follow CDC and brand standards for cleaning and sanitizing.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force and frequently lift 20 pounds to move objects.
- Capable of standing for the entire shift.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
