- Lead/support design and implementation of major capital projects across the Plant Engineering team
- Review, analyze, and improve existing operations and maintenance processes to improve capital reliability and lifespan, while decreasing downtime, maintenance, and parts replacement costs, through the development of capital projects.
- Research, evaluate, and propose capital improvements, modifications and upgrades, and replacements where appropriate.
- Evaluate and procure new and used equipment and systems upgrades as necessary, sourcing outside vendors as necessary.
- Lead development of new process equipment design, working with 3rd party suppliers, to achieve business growth objectives.
- Drive business results, manufacturing improvements, throughput increase, scrap reduction, overall COGS reduction, and enhanced safety.
- Responsible for evaluating and recommending new technologies to support new and existing product lines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent combination work experience
- Experience in electro-mechanical process engineering
- Experience with capital equipment optimization and implementation
- Experience scoping, developing, and leading large capital projects across a multi-year horizon
