    Description
    Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a LTAC facility in Morgantown, WV

    Shift: 7A-7P or 7P-7A


    Hourly Rate:
    $58


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in LTAC setting
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and medical documentation
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
    • Perform medical imaging, laboratory procedures, and specimen collection processing
    • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
    • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
    • Assist with endoflife care in hospice palliative medicine settings
    • Coordinate care transitions for patients moving between different healthcare facilities

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state regulatory board
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
    • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure
    • Experience in dermal fillers or working with doctors is a plus
    • Familiarity with nursing home regulations and practices is preferred
