    Description

    What We Need:

    We're seeking a skilled Traffic Spotter/Videographer.

    What You'll Do:

    • Will fly in a helicopter and capture traffic/breaking news images for TV affiliate clients.
    • Professionally coordinate and communicate with pilot and clients.
    • Monitor local agencies and news outlets for breaking news leads.
    • Manage information; keeping all facts straight, making sure details are accurate and current, and tracking any changes
    • Maintain crucial deadlines
    • Troubleshoot technical issues, as needed

    What You'll Need:

    • Knowledge of local coverage area geography and roadways
    • Videographer experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Office
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, "newsroom-like" collaborative environment
    • Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi-task
    • Must be willing to work some holidays
    • College degree is preferred but not required

    Compensation:

    Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
