The Clinical Supervisor assists with the coordination and management of clinical activities and is responsible for scheduling, supervising, counseling and disciplining of clinical staff.

• 1 year of work experience as an RN or LPN; Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)

Supervises nursing and other clinical staff, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, skills assessments, counseling and disciplinary actions

• Works annually with clinic manager in development of clinic budget
• Ensures clinical staff is following proper procedures of documentation and chart review for completeness and accuracy
• Addresses complaints in a timely manner when it is regarding the nursing function
• Monitors and evaluates the clinical care provided by the nursing staff to all patients
• Evaluates and communicates need for quality improvement to the clinical staff
• Responsible for all clinic management activities when the clinic manager is out of the office
• Supervises and coordinates the delegation and implementation of patient care of licensed and non-licensed personnel for assigned shift/area.

Reports to the clinic manager
This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Position is exposed daily to used needles, sharps and contaminated medical instruments.
