Job Overview and Responsibilities The Shift Team Lead (STL) is responsible for their teams performance to the manufacturing plan while ensuring all HSE, quality and productivity standards are complied with on a daily basis. They take corrective action when their team is not performing to the plan or standards are not being complied with. They will actively engage in selected work cell objectives. The incumbent reports directly to the Value Stream Lead and interfaces with each of the Site groups: Quality, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, HSE, Research & Technology and Outside Sales. The incumbent is responsible for making a quality product, within the established manufacturing budgets, while providing an environmentally safe and hazard free work center. Education and Experience Position requires a High School diploma with 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or 3-5 years Solvay experience, prefer a B.S. in Engineering/Science degree. Knowledge of equipment, procedures, and materials used to manufacture prepregs, process and project engineering experience, and good knowledge of plant operations. Incumbent must be familiar with safety, practices, cost control, labor relations, preventive maintenance, and communication skills. Skills
**Day To Day Operations**
.Communicate and enforce shift performance expectations to ensure HSE compliance and quality system requirements are met.

Ensure team members are qualified to meet expectations.
Execute incident investigations as assigned by Value Stream Lead.
Participate in select improvement teams as applicable.
Manage front line tasks such as housekeeping inspections, handbook and other audits, satellite accumulation, etc. and ensures HSE compliance and 5S standards are sustained.
Act as on-site supervision on off-shifts/weekends to ensure continual plant operations.

Ensure all area operators have been properly trained and understand HSE, Quality, Productivity and Continuous Improvement processes.
**Performance**
Accountable for holding team members accountable for their performance, including issuing disciplinary action if necessary.
