    # # # # # # This position is weekends and holidays if needed emergently. DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION Lead, coordinate and inspire the respiratory therapy team in delivering high-quality patient centered care through oversight or respiratory care procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols and the American Association or Respiratory Care (AACR) evidenced based clinical practice guidelines. Effectively collaborate with the department director, physicians, management and staff of inpatient and outpatient units including supportive departments. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

    Experience:
    A minimum of three years# in respiratory therapy


    Education and Training:
    # Bachelor#s degree in respiratory therapy, along with three years of experience in respiratory therapy or Associate#s degree with greater than five years# experience in the respiratory therapy field. Completion of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. Member of Massachusetts Society of Respiratory Care (MSRC) or the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)

    License, Certification # Registration:
    NBRC-RRT- National Board Respiratory Care RRT MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license CPR, ACLS, NRP

    Other Requirements:

    Expertise in the field of Respiratory Therapy Effective problem solving, team building skills, and willingness to participate in the education process both as a student and a provider of education.

    Actively engage in continuous education and training to stay abreast of industry advances. Ability to vary shift hours and days to meet schedule needs.
