We are seeking a Senior Project Manager expertise to support our Federal Government customer in Alexandria, VA.

The Senior Project Manager is a member of the Agile Program Management Office (APMO) and will work closely with stakeholders and colleagues across the organization to deliver technology projects, ServiceNow enhancements, and business value to APMO customers.

The Senior Project Manager will help drive the organization's SAFe transformation initiative.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage technical projects through the SDLC process using agile, iterative, and traditional methods.

Lead project teams to drive successful project delivery outcomes and real business benefits in alignment with the customer's strategic direction.

Manage resources, level of effort, project cost, risks, and milestones against a project plan, release plan and/or across multiple projects and value streams (e.g., integrated project management).

Establish and maintain the role of a trusted liaison by building relationships with government and contractor personnel to ensure effective coordination of all program and project efforts.

Present analysis findings to the appropriate stakeholders, verbally and through the preparation of presentations, reports, or the use of dashboards.

Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement, identify best practices, and assist in formulating recommendations to support APMO operations.

Effectively lead project teams to drive successful high-quality project delivery outcomes and business value in alignment with the customer's strategic direction.

Required Skills
7+ years of experience leading projects.
3+ years of experience utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies for Agile delivery of business systems and applications.
Expert in agile management tools like Azure DevOps/Jira.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM/ITBM (Strategic Portfolio and SAFe Modules)
Advanced knowledge of SAFe and other Agile frameworks (Scrum) as well as traditional project management approaches.
Experience utilizing Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint.
Possess overall technical acumen to integrate new technologies.
Possess knowledge of modern software development technologies, data management, infrastructure, network security, and other disciplines.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with ability to proactively build rapport among stakeholders.
Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver enterprise-level projects.

Required Certifications:
an active and in good standing Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI).
Desired Skills
Certified SAFe for Government
Certified Scrum Master/Agile Facilitation
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, work across organizational departments and instill confidence with the customer through work quality, time management and organizational skills, and responsiveness.

Strong understanding of technology architecture and interface development.
Prior experience supporting Federal customers.
