    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer all incoming calls in a professional manner.
    • Determine caller needs and direct calls to the correct person or extension.
    • Respond to emergency calls from doctors, hospitals, and patients according to established procedures.
    • Retrieve and deliver messages received via our after-hours voice mail system.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Knowledge of medical terminology

    Preferred Qualifications

    • One-year experience on a switchboard in a healthcare setting
    • Customer service experience and knowledge of proper telephone etiquette
