    Do you feel the drive to help foster and develop new solutions to some of the most challenging Electronic Warfare (EW) problems?

    If so, we're looking for someone like you to join the Electronic Warfare Advanced Development Group (KAP) as our Chief Scientist

    We are seeking a Chief Scientist to help pioneer the future of Electronic Warfare and accelerate its impact to the warfighter.

    As the KAP Chief Scientist, you will...

    • Lead and support challenging technology development efforts for a variety of sponsor communities.
    • Assist leadership in developing technology roadmaps and strategic plans.
    • Develop and maintain expertise in technology areas germane to group competencies (e.g., electronic warfare techniques and tactics, RF technology, passive RF detection and localization systems, distributed and collaborative systems, autonomous EA).
    • Work with programs to identify new areas of opportunity for technical work and assist in sponsor engagement.
    • Assist in technical, programmatic, and strategic reviews as requested.
    • Serve as a technical mentor for staff.
    • Assist in organizing technical exchanges within the group and with other groups across the Sector.
    • Work with the Group Chief Engineer to assess technical merit and approach of group internal research and development proposals.
    Qualifications

    You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

    • Have a Master's degree (or higher) within an engineering or technical field demonstrating scientific pursuits.
    • Have at least ten years of relevant experience in electronic warfare, radars, communications or related domains.
    • Have demonstrated technical leadership experience.
    • Have familiarity with a wide variety of pertinent technologies and their applications.
    • Have excellent communication skills and ability to mentor staff at all levels.
    • Hold an active Secret security clearance and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

    • Have a Ph.D. in an engineering or related scientific field.
    • Have at least fifteen years of relevant experience developing advanced electronic warfare systems and concepts, radars, or related technology.
    • Have previous project management leadership experience.
    • Have a solid understanding of the scientific foundation of group competencies and projects.
    • Hold an active Top Secret clearance.
