Job DescriptionAre you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your Packing skills and be an essential part of a fast-paced, dynamic team? This local Cheese Producer is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their 1st shift team as a Packer. Hours: 6am until done, Mon-Fri; Every other Saturday, 6am until donePay: $19.00/hourPacker Responsibilities:

• Load cheese products into packages processing equipment
• Verify and record product, packaging, and other information on specified forms and records
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specs are met
• Sort, weigh, and inspect products
• Verify and adjust product weight or measurement to meet specs
• Verify accuracy and correctness of product ID labels and attach to finished packaged items
• Remove finished packaged items from machine
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material
• Palletize packaged product
• Move pallets of cheese and totes in and out of production areas
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products
• Tend to operate machine that packages product

Packer Requirements:

• Previous machine operator experience
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Demonstrate good attendance
