The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology is an organization founded in May 2004. The EH S Facilities Manager supports daily building operations across CCAT s three sites ensuring a safe compliant efficient work environment This role combines hands on facilities tasks vendor coordination emergency preparedness safety program support and EH S committee administration The coordinator plays a key role in supporting employees building tenants adhering to safety policies procedures Key Responsibilities Safety Support Supervise coordinate company wide EH S activities across three CCAT sites Lead monthly EH S meetings including preparing agendas recording distributing minutes Serve primary liaison between EH S Safety Committee Executive team Implement maintain continuous improve EH programs Create revise Standard Operating Procedures SOPs safety documentation as needed Develop deliver hands on safety training modules under guidance from leadership Conduct risk assessments site inspections hazard identification activities Ensure organizational compliance with EH regulations policies procedures Lead assist incident investigations documenting findings root causes recommended improvements Coordinate evacuation emergency procedures drills real time support Stabilize escalate unsafe conditions partnership with Leadership Managers Maintain documentation incidents near misses corrective actions safety communications Support internal external events ensuring safety compliance space set up on site coordination as needed Adhere CCAT safety policies procedures maintaining safe compliant work environment Facilitations Support Deactivate building security alarm unlock doors DTL Additive Lab Perform maintenance duties replacing light bulbs hanging shelves Assist external vendors contractors building inspections sprinkler system fire pulls Manage tenant concerns service requests Move arrange assemble furniture supporting office layouts relocations meetings event setups Adhere health saftey procedurs Assit with coordiantion evacuation emergency procedurs Physical Demands Work Environment On-site position typically Monday Friday occasional early mornings evenings needed Role involves frequent walking standing bending kneeling lifting moving items up 50lbs more weight Reasonable accommodations provided individuals disabilities perform essential functions position VEVRAA Federal Contractor Job Type Full-time Benefits 401k matching dental insurance employee assistance program employee discount flexible spending account health insurance health savings account life insurance paid time off tuition reimbursement vision insurance Work Location In person >Job description
