Flex Houseparents Role

We are seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. In this role, you and your spouse will live on campus in a student home, providing guidance and mentorship to a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include creating a nurturing, family-like environment and managing various tasks such as transportation, medication administration, budgeting, and reporting.

You will initially rotate among different student homes before being assigned to one specific home. This unique opportunity requires commitment and alignment from both partners.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth, especially those from under-served settings.
• This role is designed for married couples who have been lawfully married for a minimum of two years.
• Both spouses should be at least 27 years old.
• A maximum of three dependent children can reside in the student home.
• Commitment to maintaining a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol is allowed while on duty.
• Pets are limited to approved breeds of one dog and fish.
• A valid U.S. driver's license with the ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian chapel services with students (note: proselytizing is prohibited).
• A high school diploma or GED certificate.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A high standard of integrity is essential, as all staff serve as role models for students.
• Both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
