- Education: High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly encouraged
- Skills: Successful candidates have basic to mid-level mechanical and electrical skills (including electrical maintenance, HVAC, and mechanical repair) with the aptitude to learn advanced skills. - Characteristics: This position is supervised; however, the successful candidate should have the ability to work independently or with a team while carrying out verbal and written instructions from supervisor.

- Support and back up other team members as directed by leadership

- Setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: CNC, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

Overview of Position:
As a Maintenance Technician Associate at MMS, you'll perform mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc.
This position will need to be able drive fork trucks and other logistic equipment, they will also need to be able to build boxes to support logistic operations.
This is an entry-level position designed for those who wish to develop their skills in the facilities maintenance field.Benefits:

Full-Time, 3rd Shift- East Peoria, IL, Sunday- Thursday
The successful candidate may be asked to work weekends and overtime on a regular basis, hours will flex as business requires.

Responsibilities:
Under supervision performs entry level to mid-level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
This includes but is not limited to observing devices in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools.
