    JOB TITLE: Freelance Video Producer/Writer

    LOCATION: Chicago, IL (hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week with possible travel)

    PAY RATE: $35ph / w2

    START DATE: ASAP

    DURATION: 6 months with strong possibility of extension

    HOURS: Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week

    Fortune 500 company seeking a Freelance Video Producer/Writer to create content for internal and external audiences. This self-starter will oversee concepting, filming, editing and production of content. This individual should have strong experience working with production crews, pitching stories, scriptwriting, field producing, and overseeing post-production. We are looking for a team player and collaborative partner, who will bring enthusiasm, a fresh perspective and creativity to every single project.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years producing video content for broadcast, agency, or an in-house creative team
    • Demonstrate knowledge of overall production process, from coordinating pre-production logistics to executing in the field to overseeing post-production
    • Must have a resume and portfolio for review
    • Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills required
    • Ability to pitch and develop story ideas, coordinate talent booking, plan crew logistics, and effectively communicate with staff production team
    • Collaborative approach and ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environments
    • Work closely with graphics team and editors
    • Work efficiently with internal and external partners throughout the entire production process including daily meetings with internal production team
    • Experience producing content for large scale events, social platforms, and sizzle reels preferred
    • Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, JIRA is a+
    • Ability to travel on short notice
