    Description


    As a PHP / Open Source Web Developer, you will be a key part of the 4CDesignWorks consulting group, working individually and as part of a team involved in the design, development, deployment, and support of custom web, mobile and desktop applications.

    You will collaborate with other team members in an open office environment and will be responsible for driving results on a variety of projects, managing your time in accordance with aggressive development deadlines, best practices, and a quality / delivery methodology that includes development standards.

    4CTechnologies provides a unique office setting – a high paced, high reward environment where your initiative, team work, flexibility and multi tasking capabilities are encouraged in a relaxed, fun environment.

    The dress code is business casual,occasional telecommuting is an option depending on the project and associated client needs.

    We are also considering both full and part time applicants, as well as those who may be interested in a contracting position.


    Required Qualifications:
    A desire to refine Open Source and Mobile development platforms.
    Exceptional problem solving, written, and oral communication skills.
    Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision.
    Additional open source experience helpful, ie Joomla and Drupal.
    Experience with web development, creating websites and various web applications.
    Basic object oriented design programming skills required.
    Understanding of Analytics programs preferred.
    Open source industry certifications helpful.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Hands-on experience or formal training building business applications
    Understanding of business initiatives and workflow
    Previous application development experience in a professional environment
    Understanding of business initiatives and workflow
    Confidence and experience in creating and providing presentations to both technical and non-technical clients
    Desire to learn new languages such as Microsoft .NET
    Participation in local industry groups

    Education:
    BS Degree or equivalent in a technology or business-related field

    Travel:
    Regional day or overnight travel for client demonstrations, analysis and meetings. National travel may be necessary on occasion to attend industry/vendor events and meetings
