Scope of the Position
Must have STRONG, PROVEN LEADERSHIP SKILLS and SOLID JOB TENURE (no job-hopping)
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for training, coaching and necessary discipline of staff, including related documentation.
2. Trains new employees
3. Ensures operators make quality products, efficiently while adhering to established job instructions and quality standards.
4. Supervise daily work of all staff, assisting with problem solving.
5. Take immediate steps to remove obstacles and eliminate unnecessary downtime to meet production goals.
6. Main driver of safety in the department.
7. Schedules epople and machines based on Master Schedule.
8. Consult with other shifts to ensure hand-offs are effective.
9. Facilitates cross-training for team.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing and 2 years of expereince in a leadership role.
Effectively manages employees, including training and performance improvement.
Demonstrates outstanding leadership charachteristics.
Strong documentation and communicatiuon skills, both written and verbal.
Works well under pressure.
Consistent in following procedures while still being flexible.
