    SUMMARY:

    Provides quality guest service while accurately and efficiently performs patron transactions with cash and cash equivalents. Learns and remains knowledgeable of the player's club and the casino. Positively impacts player programs by recruiting for, enrolling in and informing players, of the particulars of the program, in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength and compliance goals.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops a thorough understanding of player's club and remains current on all promotions and events.
  • Assists customers utilizing the ACSC with enrolling, changing or redemption transactions in player's club in a positive, helpful manner to maintain accuracy.
  • Team members assigned to window banks will operate with an impressed inventory of cash and perform exchanges of gaming vouchers for cash, exchange cash equivalents for front money deposits, exchange approved checks for cash, exchange chips for cash, exchange markers for cash, perform chip transfers, issue gaming vouchers, complete emergency BV transactions and respond to service issues at the TRU's and Coin Max.
  • Runs reports and verification information for patron credit line requests in accordance with directive of HCPN Credit Committee and PGCB regulations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in AS400 menus, Internal Controls, ACSC system, department policies/procedures and any other functions associated with the successful operation.
  • Serves as property ambassador and has solid overall knowledge of the property, including the casino.
  • Develops and maintains a good relationship with loyal players in order to maximize opportunity for personalized experience and return visits.
  • May function as a Main Bank Cashier as necessary. However, may not function as both a Player Services Cage Cashier and a Main Bank Cashier within a single gaming day.
  • Serves as Player Services Cage Asst Manager in their absence. However, may not function as both a Player Services Cage Cashier and a Player Services Cage Asst Manager within a single gaming day.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of player tracking system, Internal Controls and policies/procedures and makes suggestions for improvement.
  • Has authority to issue complimentaries in accordance with the approved Comp Matrix.
  • Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.
  • Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethics.
  • Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the customer service program.
  • Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.

  • High School Diploma/GED; 1-2 years cashiering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Large cash handling experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.

  • Must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts to practical situations.
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.

  • Intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office and POS; Casino Operations Software, Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
